Angel came across Justin's journal, which seemed to confirm Jennifer's suspicions that Justin may have been trying to kill himself the night of his accident. As Justin lingered in a coma, his spirit arose somewhere different entirely, as Justin awoke to find the deceased Rob at his bedside. In his reality, it was Justin, not Rob, who was struck by the hit and run driver last summer. Arising from his coma, Justin seems to find everything in life perfect. His parents are reunited, his mother accepts his relationship with Rob, his friends are all happy and together. Despite all of this, Justin can't help but feel a strange attraction to Jacob Braeden, eventually giving into his desire for him during a heated engage.
