| May 3, 2012: It's been nearly six years since the last episode of Wandering Falls left us hanging for more. While there was always a plan to revisit the lives of the teens and parents that I basically grew up writing, as is often the case, life simply got in the way. Things got busy. And what began as a small hiatus went on to become a permanent cancellation. In the time since the series ceased publication, the thought often crossed my mind as to if one day I would return to finish the story I'd spent so many years weaving. In my mind I knew where things would go next, who would end up with whom, and what lay in store for the citizens of my ficticous burg. But with each passing year I got further and further away from realizing what I wanted to achieve with the series. Suddenly one day something awoke within me, however. It was a renewed interest in the series I'd spent many countless nights slaving on during college. And for the first time in a long time, I felt like I was back home. It took a few years longer than I anticipated, and ideas have come and gone. But this summer comes a new series. A new journey in the lives of characters that I grew up with. Things might look a little bit different. We might play around with some interesting ideas. But after too long away, it is time for another chance to visit WANDERING FALLS |
